About Me
Sephe@aol.com
Hello and welcome to Crazy Brits. I am a slightly crazy Brit living in a small English village, five minutes from a ruined castle and about ten minutes from the seaside which has little shops with buckets and spades hanging outside, the obligatory fish and chip shop and an ancient village post office. Fishing boats are pulled up on the pebbled beach, (sandy only when the tide goes right out) which has houses with gardens backing onto it.
Across the road is a little village pond with ducks and a family of swans who regularly graze on the grass verge and sometimes sit in the middle of the road stopping traffic. The adult swans enjoy preening themselves in the wing mirrors of parked cars.
There are ten pubs within a twenty minute (walking) radius.
I am involved in amateur acting and have done a bit of stand up which was far more scary than acting as there is no character to hide behind. I work with children aged 5-14 on play projects and out-of-school schemes, and do random things like act in murder mystery events, work as an extra, write verse for cards or articles on playwork, and painting childrens faces.
I live alone apart from a scruffy black mongrel called Heek, who is similar to me in temperament – high and happy one minute, dark and gloomy the next. I have a great crew of eccentric quirky friends, lots of siblings in a close family glued together by a strong mother and wonderful (adult) children.
